Today consisted of me listening to a really good podcast and making food. Specifically chocolate quinoa (the chocolate part comes from cocoa powder and maple syrup, and the quinoa part comes from the... er... quinoa). I found the recipe here.

I swear, I eat 1000% more than the average 15 year old.

I listened to my podcast (which is called "Dirty John," btw, and all about this creep named John who gets his kicks from catfishing old women out of their money) while doing my English project. This involved slicing a standard size poster board in half and drawing a line on it, like one you'd see on an EKG. Ya know, like that little thingy on the heart monitor that you'd find on Grey's Anatomy?

The dips were supposed to represent the "low points" of my life and the high parts were the happier times. I added some mediocre drawings to spice it up. Honestly, it was probably the easiest project I've had since at least 8th grade. Yaaawn.

Even if I'm taking English Intensified, a supposedly "difficult" course, all we ever do is listen to our teacher rant about Ireland (which she's passionate about due to having relations there). Last Friday, we had to write an in-class essay, and the prompt was terrifically easy. Even though we had to leave the school owing to the fire alarm, taking a good chunk out of our writing time, I still had enough time to finish my essay when we returned.

Now you may be wondering, what prompted your return to blogging?

I used to blog about video games as a wee 6th grader and a sense of overpowering nostalgia has drawn me back to blogging projects year after year. But this time, I'm going to put in at least a tiny effort to post here on a semi-regular basis.

This blog will be oversharing 101. Just a fun lil outlet for me to vent my feelings.

Until next time.
